Thursday Futsal Night Progress

Didn't get much done today cause I had to work late and it's futsal night.

Tidied up my Chosen Marines, added more details to them to make them more Nurgly.
Nurgle Demon Prince is coming along nicely. Won't be doing much to him besides pinning and adding wings. Might make his wings detachable cause the 2 that I currently have right now is a paint to transport.

Anyways, here is my latest addition....from yesterday..... A terminator with Twin Lightning Claws.
This fella here is the sole CC Terminator in the squad of 7.
Helmet is from the Chaos Possessed Marine Squad, which I think give's him the extra uumph! but he looks so very different from the squad cause of the helmet.
Gonna add more plague and pox on him before the rest of the bits go on.

From start to finish, it's been since May that I decided to get back into WH40K and this is now almost completed. All that's left now it so prime, assemble and paint d:) Sounds easy enough...

Also this Friday will be my first visit to Hobby Night at Legio :)
Can't wait to get there and pick up tips on painting my army. Also gonna help Jeff build tables :)
Finally, I can enjoy Warhammer again without worries I used to have in my yesteryear.

GW sent me a replacement box of Death Guard Plague Marines today :)
What's even better is that they included a CITADEL Available To Order Catalogue.

Here's how it started, on my 4th box of Death Guard Plague Marines, I found that they only gave me 6 mini's instead of 7. Plus the one missing was the ever famous Champion model with the Tabard. Apart from that everything else was complete.


Though I could have just used my Chaos Space Marine with Nurgle Icon to fill in the rank, but I decided what the heck I paid good money for it and I'm just gonna write to them and see what happenes.

GW was nice enough to send it to me through UPS and within 3 day's it arrived.
This really makes me happy :)

So here's to the GW Customer Service (Yan) and to GW for an awesome experience.

Let's just see what I have accomplished this week, shall we.

WIP of My Obliterators and Demon Prince.

All Based Up and waiting to be primed

Actually finished converting this guys 2 weeks back, but didn't have the time to assemble the hands and base them. The guy in front is the Chaos Space Marine with Nurgle Icon. He's about 12 to 13 years old right now. I also got the Chaos Space Marine with Khorne Icon.

Well... finally they're ready for base coat. I'm not entirely happy with them, but it's different from the standard form so this will have to do for now. Spend most of my time pinning the legs and trying not to make them look funny cause they're not supposed to be standing up. Think the extended arms look kinda funny too.

But this project was fun to do and I'll gladly convert more in the future. I cut my first model with a dremel and had to wait a week for the bone saw from GF9 to arrive (which is an excellent product). Took hours off my total cutting time :)

Also got around toassembling my Nurgle Demon Prince, which will be proxied as GUO or Smmoned Greater Demon.

4 squads of Death Guards (4 Champions with PF, 4 Meltas, 2 Flamers and 2 other with interchangeable weapons)
6 Oblits (Standing Straight Conversion)
4 Chaos Rhinos (Stock)
5 Chaos Termies (4 Combi-Meltas and 1 Heavy Flamer)
5 Chaos Raptors (2 Meltas)

What's still pending
6 Chaos Bikers (Champ with Combi weapon and 2 Melta's)
1 Chaos Land Raider (Not Converted yet)
1 Undivided Demon Prince

I'm thinking of adding 5 more Chaos termies and a Chaos Land Raider.
Also toying with the idea of running 5 Chosen with either 4 Flamers or 4 Melta's with a Champ with IoCG for the Summoned Greater Demon :)

I'm so deep in mini's it's not funny anymore. I dunno how I'm gonna get them done. Still waiting for my Citadel Paint Wash set to arrive.

Another army lies idle under my table cause I'm very good at impulse buying... more on that another day.
